why choose the outdoors?
You know when the kids are driving you crazy, so you let them run wild outside like puppies to tire them out? The same analogy applies here, except, I'm here to capture the fun. And the best bit? you get to join in, too.
Family sessions revolve around love, play and interaction. They're all about taking a moment to just *be* with your family, no pressure to pose or to smile, the best photos come when you're all just being yourselves. These sessions truly bring out the best in everyone.
Leave your phones in your bag and shut the world out for a moment to enjoy cuddles, play time and running around with your babies.

FAQ
what if my child has a meltdown?
I'm sure we all look at crying kids sometimes and think "me too." Meltdowns happen! Kids are designed to be emotional and they tend to release those feelings at the most inconvenient times, it's almost a personality trait. And when this (probably) inevitably happens, we take a step back and let them have a moment to re-cooperate. Distraction, I find a lot of the time, is super helpful (so are snacks). So don't be afraid of the dreaded tantrums, there's always something to help them through it!
what should we wear?
I often find that a neutral colour palette looks the most timeless for family shoots. As much as your child may love the bright blue Cookie Monster shirt (it's probably pretty cool, I get it) it may take away the flow for the rest of the image. I'll be sure to talk all things wardrobe with you once you've booked in to find out what colours *you* enjoy too, so we can brain storm and find a colour palette that feels natural and authentic to you all!
how many people can we bring to the shoot?
As many family members as you like! But if there are specific photographs you would like out of the group, please let me know so I can prioritise capturing these moments among the fun. When looking at larger group sessions, remember to book a good amount of time to ensure everybody has photos they're happy with!
we have a disability in the family, will we still be able to shoot outside?
Absolutely. I personally scout the locations myself to ensure that the space is easily accessible to everyone and their needs - I recognise that everybody is different! If you do have any disabilities in the family, please disclose them with me when booking so I can find the best location for you and your loved ones!
are travel expenses already included in the price?
My prices do not include travel fees. I typically charge £10/ph for travel outside of The Black Country or ask for train tickets to be covered to bigger city locations like London, for example.
